چکیده
Abstract The aim of the investigations described in this article is to improve clinching aluminum die casting. focus on an casting alloy by local heat treatment and hence join them a process-safe manner. For purpose, heating strategy used warm up alloys reduce temporarily reversibly elongation yield strength material. In preliminary investigations, three different strategies (heating plate, resistance inductive heating) have been investigated. Induction has selected as most suitable method due short time production crack-free clinch points. paper, two tool systems (one with flexible die, one rigid die) were used. these tools, inductors diameter manufactured. effects each inductor alloy, such crack behavior, Surface images points regard temperature analyzed. Furthermore, characteristic parameters joints interlock, bottom thickness neck examined. addition, joined parts was investigated head tension tests. results developed showed that it possible produce below 6 s. led increasing interlock resulting 26% increase tensile strength.

Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys Casting Problems
Aluminum castings have played an integral role in the growth of the aluminum industry since its inception in the late 19th century. The first commercial aluminum products were castings, such as cooking utensils and decorative parts, which exploited the novelty and utility of the new metal. Those early applications rapidly expanded to address the requirements of a wide range of engineering speci...

Tribological and Wear Performance of Nanocomposite PVD Hard Coatings Deposited on Aluminum Die Casting Tool
In the aluminum die casting process, erosion, corrosion, soldering, and die sticking have a significant influence on tool life and product quality. A number of coatings such as TiN, CrN, and (Cr,Al)N deposited by physical vapor deposition (PVD) have been employed to act as protective coatings due to their high hardness and chemical stability. In this study, the wear performance of two nanocompo...
